NfP Business Networking CIC was formed in September 2006, to provide affordable networking opportunities for small businesses within the Torbay area.
At the time, these facilities were only provided by “for-profit” organisations, which were proving a real strain on the finances of embryonic businesses with their annual membership fees as well as meeting costs. By removing the need to make a profit from members, a better experience is provided to a wider range of small businesses.
Relevant training can be provided by specialist providers at controlled costs, but also by using the expertise of the membership, thereby raising confidence, and the quality of service provision to the local community.
We encourage entrepreneurship and all members are urged to trade ethically by adhering to a transparent “code of ethics”.
